R2V3:2019 is a global standard for the Responsible Recycling of used electronics, developed and maintained by the non-profit organization SERI (Sustainable Electronics Recycling International). The R2 standard focuses on the environmental, health, and safety aspects of electronic waste management, and provides a framework for responsible recycling practices. R2V3:2019 is the latest version of the standard, which includes new and more stringent requirements, such as the handling of data security.
